Apple Seeds First Betas of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 for Developers

Apple has released the first beta versions of the upcoming iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 updates to developers for testing, following the launch of iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 several weeks ago.

Registered developers can opt into beta versions by opening the Settings app, navigating to the Software Update section, selecting the Beta Updates option, and switching to the beta version of iOS 17 or iPadOS 17. An Apple ID linked to a developer account is needed to download and install the beta.

All the features Apple promised for iOS 17 have already been introduced, so it’s unclear what iOS 17.6 will include. This update is expected to be one of the last feature updates for iOS 17, as Apple will soon transition its focus to iOS 18.
